Our Lord told us to invite those who have nothing with which to repay and entertain them with food. He said that when you give a dinner or a supper, you should not invite your brothers, your relatives, or rich neighbors. It is because if you invite them, you will be repaid in return. So He said rather to invite the poor and those who have nothing with which to repay, and entertain them. Then, He said, at the resurrection of the just the Lord will repay that entertainment.
