Our Lord told us to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees. He is telling us to beware of the doctrine that the Pharisees spread. He also said that whatever we have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light and what we have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops, and He told us not to be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do, but to fear the One whom we ought to fear. And He said that if we confess before people that our Lord is our Savior, the Lord will also confess before the angels of God that He knows us, and that if we deny the Lord before people, saying that we do not know Him, the Lord will also deny us before the angels of God, saying that He does not know us.
